Davide Tomatis (1991) is a graphic and type designer born in TorinoIT and graduated from the Master in Type Design at Ècal, LausanneCH.
His work focuses mainly on typography within type design, book design, print making and teaching, with a strong inclination towards historical based or experimental projects.
Since 2011 he is part of the typographical archive and letterpress printshop Archivio Tipografico and of its in-house design studio called Studio 23.56. Since 2019 he teaches Typography at IAAD, Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design (Torino).
